Cratefires Publishing is the exclusive publisher of fictional works authored by Joshua Smith.​

So where does our crazy name come from?  We are absolutely obsessed with two traditions as old as our earliest ancestral communities — the fireside experience and storytelling.

Every time we see fire, its captivating.  It's elemental allure never fades.  The crackling sound of burning wood, the way the flames dance, the feeling of warmth that it provides. Immersed in this experience, we feel more in harmony, more connected with nature and those around us.

We honor this tradition with hand-crafted, crate-based fire starters that maximize airflow without the use of accelerants (patent pending). It's where we derive our name — Cratefires.

 

One element makes this experience even richer — the stories we share that persevere. Stories help us draw inspiration, pass wisdom, make us laugh, and expand our view. To this end, we are dedicated to the publishing and dissemination of fictional works intended to entertain and delight readers across the globe.
